APPG on Anti-Corruption and Responsible Tax
Our aim is to develop and advocate for policies which promote fair taxation and put a stop to corruption or financial crime. We work not only for the headline fiscal purpose of increasing public revenue, but also for the wider purpose of ensuring that the public at large continues to have faith in the system. We are non-partisan and work to build consensus across the political divide.

Testimonials
Dr Susan Hawley, Executive Director, Spotlight on Corruption:
“The APPG on Anti-Corruption and Responsible Tax was critical to achieving Parliamentary impact for our joint campaign to tackle illicit finance. The APPG team coordinated and leveraged key MPs and peers, provided an essential nodal point for engaging closely on amendments and parliamentary briefings throughout the legislative process, and maximised the impact of our campaign through the strategic placement of opinion pieces by influential Parliamentarians. Without the energy and commitment of the APPG and its staff, we simply could not have achieved as much impact as we did.”
Lord Agnew, Co-Chair, APPG on Anti-Corruption & Responsible Tax:
"I had the pleasure of working with he APPG on Anti-Corruption and Responsible Tax for over two years. We fought hard during the passage of Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act and achieved some important improvements. Gradually the establishment are waking up to the difference between good money and bad money and that if we are to retain our reputation as an important international financial centre we need to lift our game. Thank you to the APPG for all that you did. You have made Britain a better place."
